Swiss Federal Design Awards 2005
A competition of the Swiss Federal Office of culture
The exhibition by the Swiss Federal Office of Culture which displays 24 works and projects by 27 designers (or groups of designers) awarded in the Federal Design Competition. The awarded works were staged by atelier oï. Among the 256 candidates from the first round, the comeback of projects in jewellery and industrial design must be emphasized. Other sectors include photography, fashion and graphic design.
Ten of the awarded works by the Federal Design Committee come from the fields of fashion and textile design, photography, industrial design, typography, jewelry, and interface design, while the other 14 works are unique models or limited series.
The exhibition is accompanied by a publication created by the designers Claudia Roethlisberger and Marie Lusa.
