| Interview with Jolanthe Kugler and Scott Longfellow, curators of the Terra exhibition presented as part of the “Space is the Place” season. Has Earth become a design object, an artefact that humans can measure, control and even modify ? This exhibition takes stock of an action that has unfolded since humans first settled, i.e. that of designing our planet. Since the scientific revolution in the Age of Enlightenment, this process has accelerated, and even more so in the 1960s, with the conquest of space and, in particular, the view of Earth from space. |
