The exhibition Criss + Cross Design in Switzerland unveils revealing aspects about the skilfulness and diversity of design in our country. A selection of more than 400 objects presented in packing cases demonstrates the vast panorama of 20th-century creative work; it involves diverse generations of designers and addresses every design discipline. It groups the objects according to clear, relevant and often unusual themes.
Initially conceived to present Swiss design abroad, Criss + Cross aroused the interest of the mudac through the appropriateness of its approach. Besides the quality of the selection offered, it is judicious and revealing to see and understand how Swiss culture displays and presents itself beyond its own borders.
