Reopening of the museum – health and safety measures

The mudac has adopted all the necessary measures to ensure the health and safety of its employees and its visitors. These measures are applied in accordance with the health regulations dictated by the FOPH and in compliance with the standards of the ICOM and AMS.

In order to ensure that your visit takes place in the best possible conditions:

  • The total number of visitors is limited to 50 people simultaneously inside the museum. Special measures have been taken to ensure a smooth circulation in the exhibition spaces.
  • The Municipality of Lausanne is offering free admission until 7 June.
  • The museum remains open at the usual hours: Tuesday to Sunday – 11 am to 6 pm.
  • The mudac shop is open, in accordance with cantonal regulations: Tuesday to Sunday – 11am to 6pm.
  • Guided tours and outreach events are cancelled until 8 June. New activities will be offered soon.
  • Lockers may not be used. The unsupervised cloakroom remains accessible.
