Opening hours:

July and August: Monday to Sunday 11.00-18.00
Open on public holiday throughout the year, Monday included
24 and 31 December: 11.00-16.00
25 December and 1 January: closed

The museum will be closed from 9 to 16 October included for the installation of the new exhibitions. From 3 to 8 October, only the contemporary glass art collection will be visible. From 17 to 24 October, only the contemporary glass art collection and the Ancient art collection will be visible. Admission to the museum will be reduced to 5.-. From 3 to 8 October, the museum will not be accessible to wheelchair users. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience.

Access:
Public transportation: métro M2 stop Bessières; bus 6, 7 or 66 stop Bessières; bus 16 stop Pont Bessières.
From the train station CFF: métro M2, direction Sallaz/Croisettes, stop Bessières.
By car: Coming from the north of Lausanne, exit Lausanne-Vennes, then follow “Centre/toutes directions”.
Coming from the south of Lausanne, exit Lausanne-Maladière, then follow “Centre”.
Closest parkings: Riponne, Mon-Repos or Rôtillon.

Admission fees:
Full charge: chf 10.-
Studends and pensioners: chf 5.-
Children up to 16, unemployed: free admission
Plateforme10: each entrance ticket purchased at the mudac will give access to the Elysée Museum and the cantonal Museum of Fine arts – validity for 3 days starting from the purchase of the ticket.
Join ticket with the History Museum (closed at the moment for renovation): chf 15.-/ chf 8.-
Free admission on the first Saturday of the month
Guided tours:
Public guided tours in French are organised for each exhibition.
Private guided tour (in French, English, or German): chf 100.- for the tour + 5.- admission per person (private group) or 50.- (schools).

Mobility-impaired:
The museum is accessible to people in wheelchairs, except for two rooms on the second floor (glass art collection). The life is 90 cm wide (door) and 210 cm long.
From 3 to 8 October 2017, the museum will not be accessible to wheelchair users. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience.
