Mathilde Pellé

Mathilde Pellé is a French designer and researcher, who graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris. Alongside her work designing objects and spaces, she has been running the Soustraire research project since 2016. She uses subtraction to study forms, dissect objects, experience less and participate in the emergence of less possible. Through a variety of practices and the use of different medias, she helps to cast doubt on accepted forms of everyday life, and ask the central question: Why is there something rather than less?
