The mudac’s 8th carte blanche exhibition is dedicated to the young French designer Florence Doléac, a former member of the RADI DESIGNERS group. Designed specifically for the mudac, TAC TIC is an exhibition consisting of two sections: an in situ installation and a screening of the designer’s works. In the centre of the first gallery, on a floor covered with carpeting, a large mound of pebbles welcomes the visitor and invites him or her to sit down on it, get comfortable.
Seated or recumbent, the viewer can then from this central point contemplate the surrounding walls, decorated with a sort of luminous wallpaper. In the parallel room, a biographic exhibition is projected in the form of a sequence of silent images. In this home cinema, visitors may take a rest on Patapouf chairs created by the designer. Florence Doléac has chosen to create an installation that evokes her interest in the phenomena of perception, positioned between intimacy, relaxation, design and poetry.
