INOUT is a platform intended to promote the young French-speaking Swiss design scene. It functions as a catalyst of energies with the aim of bringing young professional designers together at the time of major design meetings or by means of exhibitions, publications, and productions. The 12 designers (Cédric Decroux, Martino d’Esposito, Yves Fidalgo, Alexandre Gaillard, Alex Jaccard, Emanuelle Jaques, Nicolas Le Moigne, Augustin Scott de Martinville, Damien Regamey, Adrien Rovero, Sibylle Stöckli and Francisco Torres) behind the first action of the group INOUT are all graduates from ECAL. They have created 12 prototypes of furniture: inventive, unusual and often playful. Photographed in situ in Lausanne, these creations, together with images of them, have taken over the two “carte blanche” galleries at the mudac.
