A project devoted to fashion, Dysfashional does not exhibit clothes but creates scenarios around the materials that make fashion into a device for representation of identity and for experiments linked to perception. Dysfashional puts the vision of fashion designers and artists of diverse backgrounds into play in order to approach this field, as frivolous as it is essential. The visitor will find a provocative, spectacular, disorientating layout, punctuated by settings and installations which appeal to all the senses and in which the protagonists are not objects but processes.
Originally created for La Rotonde 1 in Luxembourg in April 2007, the exhibition Dysfashional has been entirely reactivated and adapted for the mudac’s gallery spaces.
