Common Accounts is a research studio working in spatial practice that operates between Madrid and Toronto. Run by Igor Bragado and Miles Gertler, it examines situations where design intelligence is abundant but under the radar, with a particular focus on self-design and the human body’s interface with its environment. Bragado is Adjunct Professor at IE University and Gertler is Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. The work of Common Accounts has been exhibited in museums and galleries in the Americas, Europe, and Asia, developed in a fellowship at the Royal Spanish Academy in Rome, and recognized with the League Prize from the Architectural League of New York.
