From a wine bottle you might see at the supermarket to a chair held in the MOMA’s permanent collection, from a collaboration with Japanese ceramicists to a furniture design for Ikea, the work of this Lausanne-based trio is recognised both in Switzerland and internationally.

The founding trio of BIG-GAME has consisted, since 2004, of Augustin Scott de Martinville – Swiss and French, born in 1980, he grew up in China (Beijing and Hong Kong), and studied at ECAL / University of Art and Design Lausanne, graduating in 2005 –, Grégoire Jeanmonod – Swiss, born in 1978, he grew up in Switzerland in the Canton of Vaud, and studied industrial design at ECAL / University of Art and Design Lausanne, graduating in 2003 – and Elric Petit – Swiss and Belgian, born in 1978, who grew up in Belgium and Algeria, studied industrial design at La Cambre in Brussels and graduated in 2003. In addition to their design work, the three founders of BIG-GAME also serve as professors at ECAL / University of Arts and Design Lausanne. The studio describes its work as simple, functional and optimistic, and today consists of a team of 5 to 7 people.
